Peter B. Canalia

Peter CanaliaDid you know that over 600,000 pets are euthanized in the US each year as a result of no provisions made for the pet upon their owner's death? After reading this staggering statistic, Peter B Canalia, estate planning attorney practicing in Illinois and Indiana for over 40 years, made the commitment to include his clients' pets in their estate planning process. This process soon became the genesis of the web-based site, Peace of Mind Pet Trust, an efficient and effective way to create a pet trust/powers of attorney---The Ultimate in Pet Care.

Mr. Canalia is now serving a one-year term as the Chairman of the Illinois Bar Association Animal Law Section Council. Peter is a graduate of Rose Polytechnic Institute of Technology, John Marshall Law School, and a member of the Illinois and Indiana Bar Associations.
